A lovely 2-year-old gelding for your consideration. He is registered and microchipped with CLRC. Born April 20th, 2023. Gelded May 2, 2024. Measured at 138cm April 27th, 2025. Parents are dual registered with CLRC and NFHR.
I use both of his parents for riding and driving. His Dam is my children's safe mount, however she is a quick little driving pony. Oaken will make an excellent riding or driving sport pony, he won't be a kick ride as he has lots of go and he likes to jump like his Sire. Up to date on vaccinations, feet, dewormer and had his teeth done. He stands nice for clipping, feet and blankets. Trailers, cross ties and is very easy to catch. Commissary Wagon For Sale
This one of a kind, handmade beauty was completely handcrafted in 1994 in Quebec by Benoit et Fils for Pat Wolfe. It was many months in construction. It is an exact 3/4 replica of the Commissary Wagon in the Stony Brook Carriage Museum in New York. Although Pat Wolfe used it for his pair, the pieces are available with it to be used for a 4 horse hitch. It was designed for large ponies or small horses.
The brass fittings and leather show harness are included. The harness was custom made for this wagon by harness maker, Al Barrett of Pakenham, Ontario.
The Commissary Wagon and show harness were well taken care of and are in excellent condition. Selling Price: $6,000
